The Jewish Federation of Durham-Chapel Hill invites you to an extraordinary opportunity to learn about leadership through change, and how the advancement of technology has affected telecommunications on a local and global scale.
David Morken is the co-founder and CEO of Bandwidth, one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing communications technology companies. Morken has led Bandwidth through tremendous growth since its inception including, most recently, the launch of Republic Wireless. As the nation’s first hybrid calling mobile operator, Republic Wireless leverages the disruptive power of WiFi plus cellular to provide members with unlimited voice, text and data service.
Blair Levin is the Executive Director of Gig.U: The Next Generation Network Innovation Project, an initiative of 3 dozen leading research university communities seeking to support educational and economic development by accelerating the deployment of next generation networks. Since 2010, Levin is the Communications & Society Fellow with the Aspen Institute Communications and Society Program. Previously Levin oversaw the development of a National Broadband Plan on the Federal Communications Commission.
