Does setting up an estate plan seem overwhelming? What else do you need besides a will? Where do you and your family even begin?
On Wednesday, June 23rd, Jewish for Good hosted an Estate Planning 101 virtual workshop designed for parents of kids of all ages. Attendees learned about the estate planning process, like creating a trust, understanding life insurance beneficiaries, creating advance directives, appointing fiduciaries, and so much more, for free. Each year the funds held at the Jewish Community Foundation convert generous ideas into deliberate action through the grants and disbursements made. These grants and disbursements support Jewish and secular nonprofits locally and beyond. Annually the Foundation tends to grant and distribute approximately $450,000.
Ways to Plan Today
It is our goal to assist you on a personal and confidential basis to create the most meaningful gift possible. Gifts can be funded with cash, securities, or illiquid assets. We can also help you to create a lasting legacy that will be funded at a later date or as an after-lifetime gift. This can be accomplished through bequests, life insurance, or retirement plans.
