Jujitsu is the ancient Japanese art of self-defense. The techniques taught in the class include escapes, encounters, throws, and holds. The focus of the class is self-defense, physical exercise, and perfection of technique. This is a drop in class for students aged 13 and up.
Days and time: Fridays 6-7:15.
Cost: Drop in $10 members, $12 guests.

Beginner Level 1+2 Adult Aerial Silks
Students learn to “fly” on fabric drapes, learning technique and building strength. Students work close to the ground in a safe, supportive environment. This is the right class for new students and students who have completed a session-based aerial silks class but have not yet mastered the pre-requisite skills for an intermediate class.
Ages: 14 and up
Day/time: Tuesdays 6:45-7:45pm
Cost: 12 week winter session $165/members, $200/guests. 5 week spring session $70/members, $85 guests
Aerial – Intermediate
Build skills, technique, and strength for more advanced moves. For this class, you should know basic sling skills (straddle, gazelle, star, seat), footlock (split and together) in the air, an inverted climb, bent leg inversion in the wait, and secretary (any hipkey entry) from the air.
Day/time: Mondays 6:15-7:30pm

Come join us at our hands-on cooking classes in the J-Café kitchen. We gather at the end of each session to enjoy a meal of the foods prepared in class.
Belly Dance Basics

Belly dance is a graceful form of creative expression, and an excellent way to improve strength and balance. But most importantly, it is fun! This no-shame, body-positive class introduces students to foundational belly dance movements and simple combinations. Appropriate for all levels, the class features core conditioning exercises that promote strong, safe, and aligned movement on and off the dance floor. Please wear comfortable, stretchy exercise clothes. Soft dance shoes are optional in this traditionally barefoot dance.
