Lisa Lewis, Pilates/Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor

Lisa has worked at the Levin JCC as a trainer for over 6 years. As a trainer, Lisa has experience working with clients in their teens making fitness fun, to clients in their senior years making fitness functional and safe. She has been a Pilates equipment trainer for 3 years. Through her Pilates training she has strengthened 80 year old clients, allowing them to walk taller and feel more flexible. Other clients have come to Lisa looking for athletic workouts using the equipment that will challenge them like no other workout does. Through her Pain Free Movement Specialist Certification, Lisa has taken clients from a chronic state of pain to a functional state of movement and stability.  During the past 10 years, Lisa has obtained the following certifications:

  • ACE (American Council on Exercise) – Certified Personal Trainer
  • ACE Metabolic Conditioning Certification
  • IFTA (Interactive Fitness Trainers of America) – Group Exercise Instructor
  • Schwinn Certified Cycle Instructor
  • American Red Cross – First Aid, CPR, AED

  • Pilates Center Of NC Beginner and Advanced Mat Certification
  • Function First Pain Free Movement Specialist
  • Barre Above Instructor Certification

She teaches several group fitness classes that include TRX, Tabata, Pilates, and Strength and Stability. No matter what your fitness level is, or what goals you have set for yourself, Lisa will be there with a safe and effective plan of action to help you reach your healthy you!
